Moutushi Chakraborty (b.1975) pursued her education in Graphic Arts – Bachelor’s degree (1998) from Visva-Bharati University and Master’s degree (2000) from M.S. University Baroda. In 2002 she was awarded the Commonwealth Foundation Fellowship. She received the Charles Wallace India Trust Award for Visual-Arts which funded her second Master’s degree in Advanced Printmaking from Wimbledon School of Art. She is also recipient of the Lalit Kala Akademi Award. In 2019 she held her third Solo exhibition ‘The Homeland’ at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
