Balaka Bhattacharjee (b.1974) graduated in Fine arts from University College for the Creative Arts, Canterbury, UK in 2006. She was chosen as a finalist in the Camlin art foundation exhibition in 2002. Her first solo show was held at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2003.
