World   around us seems to be off- balance as if everything has been tilted.

There is something wrong with tilting.

An object that is moved away from its usual position tilts. A person who can’t withstand pressure tilts. Bending away from the norm somehow implies that the object -or the person – that is bending didn’t have the strength to stay in the correct place.

But can ideas tilt?  Can morals, convictions and thoughts be off- balance?

Incidents around us would seem to indicate ‘yes’. Side by side we see the devastation that is wrought by nature ‘tilting’ and the revolutions created in societies where thoughts are tilting and moving away from the accepted path. New ways of looking at things brings about unrest.

Can these tilting results in good things? Moving off centre   can mean flexibility and innovation too – a very   desirable result. Perhaps it is time to   encourage things and thoughts that are slanted and angular. Instead of trying to straighten things out, should we be looking at what good can come of deviation. Can moving slightly off-center result in new and better things? Or can it only cause unrest?
