DEBNATH BASU

Debnath Basu completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree, both in Printmaking Art from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He was awarded Kanoria Centre for Arts Fellowship, Ahmedabad; Junior Fellowship, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt.  of India and Vikram Sarabhai Foundation Fine Art Fellowship, New Delhi. Debnath has participated in many groups shows in India and abroad and has two solo shows in his credit: Pundole Art Gallery, Mumbai and ‘Scribbles from the underground and satire from above’ at Aicon Gallery, Palo Alto, USA. Debnath lives in Howrah, West Bengal.
